안녕하세요.

크로스베이스볼 대표 남지현입니다.

크로스베이스볼에서는 학생 선수를 '리더'라고 부릅니다.

10년 가까이 야구를 통해 쌓아온 글로벌 리더십은, 앞으로 어떤 분야를 선택하든 그곳에서 최고의 글로벌 리더로 성장할 수 있는 소중한 자질이기 때문입니다.

안타깝게도 많은 아이들이 야구를 시작하는 이유는 프로 선수가 되는 꿈 하나뿐입니다.

이 목표가 중요하지 않다는 뜻은 결코 아닙니다.

그러나 야구를 하는 이유가 이 하나의 꿈으로만 한정되어서는 안 됩니다.

야구 그 자체가 이미 아이들에게 강인한 체력과 정신력, 팀워크를 최우선으로 하는 가치관, 인성의 소중함, 수많은 관중 앞에서 흔들리지 않는 배짱, 그리고 어린 나이부터 1만 시간의 법칙을 실천한 성실함과 책임감을 선물하기 때문입니다.

이처럼 야구를 통해 길러진 놀라운 잠재력을 결코 간과해서는 안 됩니다.

야구를 선택한 것은 진정한 축복입니다.

인공지능 시대에 창의적인 인재가 되기 위해서는 자신의 몸을 100% 이해하고 자유자재로 활용할 줄 알아야 한다고 믿습니다.

이제 더 이상 책상 앞에만 앉아 공부하는 것으로 시대를 선도할 수 있는 시대가 아닙니다.

몸과 머리를 조화롭게 사용하는 아이들만이 미래를 이끌어갈 수 있을 것입니다.

이러한 신념을 바탕으로 크로스베이스볼의 모든 프로그램은 프로 선수를 포함한 각 분야의 글로벌 인재 양성을 목적으로 설계되어 리더들에게 제공되고 있습니다.

저의 이 진심이 한 분 한 분의 진심과 만나 더해진다면, 야구에 대한 인식은 물론 야구를 통해 아이들을 키우는 이유와 문화 자체가 아름답게 변화할 수 있다고 확신합니다.

그래서 저는 “진심이 모이면 문화가 됩니다”라는 마음으로 동심원을 그려가고 있습니다.

앞으로 더 많은 분들과 함께, 우리 사랑하는 아이들이 각자의 분야에서 최고의 '글로벌 리더'로 성장할 수 있다는 믿음으로 좋은 문화를 만들어가고 싶습니다.

I am J. Nam, CEO & Founder of Kross Baseball.

At Kross Baseball, we call our young athletes “leaders.”

This is because the global leadership cultivated through nearly a decade of baseball becomes a precious quality that enables them to grow into top global leaders in any field they choose in the future.

Unfortunately, for many children, the sole reason for starting baseball is the dream of becoming a professional player.

This dream is undoubtedly important—I do not mean to suggest otherwise.

However, the purpose of playing baseball should not be limited to this single goal.

Baseball itself already bestows upon children strong physical stamina and mental resilience, a values system that prioritizes teamwork, a deep understanding of the importance of character, the courage to perform unshaken in front of large crowds, and the diligence and sense of responsibility demonstrated by practicing the “10,000-hour rule” from a young age.

We must never overlook the remarkable potential nurtured through baseball in this way.

Choosing baseball is truly a blessing.

In the age of artificial intelligence, I believe that to become a creative talent, one must fully understand and freely command one’s own body.

The era when sitting only at a desk studying was enough to lead the future is over.

Only children who can harmoniously use both body and mind will be able to lead the future.

With this conviction, every program at Kross Baseball is designed with the greater purpose of developing global talents across all fields—including professional athletes—and is provided to our leaders.

If my sincere heart meets and combines with the sincere hearts of each and every one of you, I am convinced that not only society’s perception of baseball, but also the reasons for raising children through baseball and the culture itself will beautifully transform.

That is why, with the belief that “when sincere hearts gather, they become culture,” I am quietly yet steadily drawing concentric circles.

I hope that in the future, together with many more of you,we can create a wonderful culture grounded in the faith that our beloved children can grow into outstanding “global leaders” shining in their respective fields.
